Kubee Kassaye earns top culinary prize; dreams of opening own Ethiopian/Italian restaurant
Bronx, New York – Kubee Kassaye loves to experiment in the kitchen. On any given day, the young chef will whip up American, Italian, Spanish, Chinese and her native Ethiopian cuisine in her Parkchester kitchen.

Awash Ethiopian Restaurant to open in Brooklyn
New York, NY – Awash Ethiopian Restaurant, which already operates two Ethiopian restaurants in Manhattan, will open its first eatery in Brooklyn.
The new restaurant will be located at 242 Court Street, between Kane and Baltic streets, in the space formerly occupied by Quercy.
