CHAN Tournament: Ethiopia suffers second defeat

South Africa – The Ethiopian Walia Ibex suffered their second defeat and are eliminated from the African Championships when they lost 1-0 at the hands of Congo here today.

The lone goal of the game came 78 minutes thanks to Rudy Ndey.

Earlier in the day, Ghana and Libya played to a 1-1 draw.

So, after two matches played in Group C, Libya and Ghana share top spot (4 pts) and followed by Congo (3pts) and Ethiopia (0 pt, -3 goals).

The Walia Ibex will play their last group match against Ghana, a mere formality.
