Bahir Dar To Host 14th African Continental Cycling Championships

Addis Ababa, September 1, 2018  – The 14th African Continental Cycling Championships will be held in Ethiopia for the first time.

It will be held from 14-19 March 2019 in the city of Bahir Dar, Amhara regional state, according to a joint press conference issued by the Ethiopian Cycling Federation and Amhara regional state’s sport commission.

Worku Geda, vice president of the Federation, said cyclists from about 35 African countries are expected to participate at the championships.

The African Continental Cycling Championships are a series of cycling races held annually since 2005 in Africa.
