Mali hammers Ethiopia 5-0 in U-20 Friendly

It was a bad day at the office for the Junior Walias as they took a 5-0 hammering at the hands of the Mali U-20 in a buildup game on Monday at Bamako.

Both nation used the game to prepare for the upcoming African U-20 Nations Cup, which is due in Zambia, this weekend. In the friendly game played at Satde Ominsports Madibo Keita coach Girma Habteyohannis used the team that beat Ghana in the first interval. The home side opened the floodgates minute after the onset through Mamby Koïta (1′). Amadou Diarra doubled the lead in the 35th minute leaving Mali the superior side.
