My Opinion: Ethiopian National Team Coach

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – Mensur Abdulkeni, Managing Editor of EthioSport, one of Ethiopia’s premier weekly sports newspaper here,  believes that former St. George (Ethiopia) and Hilal (Sudan) coach Mitcho Sredojevic of Serbia, is the ideal candidate for the vacant Ethiopian national head coaching position, in an opinion he wrote.

Mensur said that Mitcho, who recently has taken over the Rwandan national team, has the right tool to lead the Walias because of his great knowledge of the game, his work experience here with St. George and in several African clubs, including Orlando Pirates (South Africa), SC Simba (Uganda) and Hilal (Sudan).

“Mitcho is married to an Ethiopian lady with whom he has three children, thus connecting him both professionally but also personally with the country and its people”, Mensur, wrote.
