Fasil Kenema FC, Ethiopia‘s representative in the 2019 CAF Confederation Cup, left for Dar es Salaam, Tanzania to face Azam FC in the second leg match on Saturday.

Fasil, which won the first leg match 1-0 in Bahir Dar ten days ago, needs a victory or a draw to advance to the next round of the competition. However, the team will be without the service of Bezabeh Meleyo, who scored the lone goal, due to injuries he suffered.

The Gondar-based team will be led by the newly appointed head coach Seyoum Kebede, who replaced the departing Wubetu Abate.

The team has conducted training sessions in Bahir Dar and at Abebe Bikila Stadium, which has artificial turf just like their Tanzanian counterpart.

If Fasil advances to the next round, it will face the winner Triangle United of Zimbabwe vs Rukinso FC of Burundi
