Ethiopia: St George advances to group stage with 2-0 victory over AC Leopards

Addis Ababa: St George of Ethiopia reached the final group stage of 2017 Total CAF Champions League with a 2-0 victory (3-0 on aggregate) over AC Leopards of Congo Brazzaville

The Saints have to thank top striker Salhadin Said, who scored a goal in each half (16′ & 90+) to give his team a great victory.

St George has thus become the first Ethiopian side to reach the final group stage of the CAF Champions League.

Defenders: Frezer Kassa, Aschalew Tamene, Salhadin Bergecho and Abebaw Butako

Midfielders: Abdul-Karim (Tesfaye Alebachew 68′), Natnael Zeleke and Adane Girma
