10th Africa Women Cup of Nations: Ethiopia to face Algeria

Addis Ababa, (FBC) – Ethiopia Women’s National Football Team “Dinkinesh”  (Lucy) will fly to Algeria today to face its Algerian counterpart in the first round of the qualifier for the 10th Africa Women Cup of Nations..

A 20-member Ethiopian delegation, including 20 players, will leave for Algiers today at 10:00 PM local time.

The match will be played on Sunday, March 8, 2016, with the second leg to be held in Ethiopia two weeks later.

The winner of the two will face Kenya as DR Congo withdrew from the qualifier.

 

In Bamako, Mali will host Morocco, Burkina Faso against Tunisia in Ouagadougou whilst Senegal and Guinea settle their scores at the Demba Diop Stadium in Dakar

Libya will be up against Egypt in all-North African battle in the Tunisian city of Sousse, Botswana against Mauritius in Lobatse, situated 70-kilometres south of the capital Gaborone.

The 2016 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations will be held in Cameroon from November 19 to 3 December 3.
