Ethiopia International Oumed Oukri elated after penning 4 year deal at Egyptian club ENPPI


At the start of the year Ethiopian striker Oumed Oukri was an unsettled player moving back on loan to St.George of Ethiopia after his club Ittihad Alaxandria failed to pay his four mounts salary.

Fast forward Oumed signed a four year deal at Egytian side ENPPI to put to bed his worries returning to what he knows best that’s playing football.

Ittihad Alexandria will earn approximately 1 million Egyptian pounds (a little over $127,000 US) from the deal but for Oumed who spoke exclusively to he is happy to be back playing competitive football.

“A lot has happened to my career this year but I am now happy that is now water under the bridge as I want to move on and do what I know best playing football. I want to thank Ittihad fans and management for giving me an opportunity and as I move on to ENPPI I want to give them my best and rekindle my professional career”

Oumed has been a key figure in the Ethiopian national team Walia Ibex he played for St.George for long before moving to Egypt.
