Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – The Ethiopia Walia Ibex team left the capital here today to face Seychelles in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations Group J qualifier in Victoria on Saturday.

The other Group J match features Algeria, who will travel to Maseru to take on Lesotho on Sunday.

The Walias’ 26-man delegation included 18 players and 8 officials.

Algeria and Ethiopia lead Group J on 3 points each after the two teams beat Seychelles (4-0) and Lesotho (2-1) respectively.

Ethiopian National Team:

Goalkeepers: Lealem Birhanu and Tarike Getnet

Defenders: Seyoum Tesfaye, Tekalegn Dejene, Walid Atta, Asechalew Tamene, Anteneh Tesfaye and Zekarias Tuji

Midfielders: Mulualem Mesfin, Biruk Kalbore, Gatoch Panom, Ephrem Ashamo, Shemeles Bekele and Asechalew Girma

Strikers: Baye Gezaghen, Oumed Okuri, Salahdin Said and Getaneh Kebede

If we loose to sychelles with a population of just 90,000, which the equivalent to the population of Akaki sub city, what are you going to say all of you who think the ethiopian football problem is lack of tactical discipline ? The truth is the ethiopian fotball federation officials, coaches, club managers, and the players do not know that to be a world class proffesional player, every player should spend 3- 4 hours per day runing and lifting weight in the gym. If they loose , you could be surpprised. But not me.
