Walias Ibex to face Palancas Negras in Soccer Friendly on Sunday

Saladin and GetanehAddis Ababa – The Walia Ibex of Ethiopia will face the Palancas Negras of Angola in a friendly match in Luanda this Sunday as part of the team’s preparation for the 2015 Orange Africa Cup of  Nations, which will be held in Morocco.

Missing in coach Mariano Barreto’s list of 23 players are ace strikers Salhadin Said (Al Ahly, Egypt), Getaneh Kebede (Bidvest Wits, South Africa), Alula Girma (St. George) and Menyahel Teshome (St. George).
