People on the Move: Hilton Addis Ababa

Shankar ParamasivamHilton Addis Ababa, late last week announced the appointment of a trio of new senior positions in three key areas of the hotel including operations, business development and food and beverage.

With almost 50 years of collective hospitality experience between them, the long serving Hilton Addis Ababa recently welcomed Shankar Paramasivam as its new Director of Operations, Peter Idoko as Director of Business Development and heading up operations as Food and Beverages Manager is Jason Kladidis.

With a strong 23-year hospitality background, Shankar joins Hilton Addis Ababa from the multi-award winning Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa in Egypt following an extensive career in the hotel industry covering a range of hospitality disciplines. New Director of Business Development, Peter Idoko, is a Hilton Worldwide hospitality veteran of sub-Saharan Africa with over 20 years of sector experience covering Nigeria, Namibia and South Africa. Meanwhile, Jason joins the Food and Beverages team at Hilton Addis Ababa from Hilton Xi’an in China with key responsibilities to develop the hotel’s six restaurants and bars as well as provide leadership and training for the department’s 10 team members.

Jason KladidisAlso joining the Hilton Addis Ababa management team is Selome Legesse as the new Public Relations and Marketing Manager.
