Ethiopian Airlines attracts more visitors from Oman by issuing tourist visas

Muscat, Oman — Ethiopian Airlines, the fastest growing Airline in Africa has announced that Omani nationals and residents can currently apply for Ethiopian visa through Ethiopian Airlines office in Muscat.

This facility will attract more passengers in the Sultanate to visit Ethiopia for tourism. The original visa will later be stamped upon arrival. Visa to this African country will be facilitated within ten working days from the submission of documents. This facility is applicable only to the passengers travelling from Muscat on Ethiopian Airlines.

“There are many Omani nationals who would like to visit Ethiopia for tourism purposes but in absence of Ethiopian embassy in Oman people have to apply through Ethiopian Embassy in Yemen. But now with the national carrier of Ethiopia coming forward, the procedure becomes very simple, says Sami Muctar, Country Manager, Ethiopian Airlines-Oman.

This facility can also be availed by Ethiopian Airlines passengers who wish to take a short break in Addis Ababa while visiting other countries. Ethiopia as a tourist destination has a lot to offer. The capital, Addis Ababa is as cosmopolitan as any of the world’s great metropolises, and the architecture is as varied as the city itself.

Ethiopian Airlines, a Star Alliance Member, operates 4 non-stop flights a week from Muscat to Addis Ababa and offers excellent connection over Addis to rest of the Africa. Ethiopian is proud to be the first African carrier to have taken delivery of the B787 Dreamliner and be able to offer passengers the ultimate travel experience on-board this game changing aircraft before other carriers.
