Ethiopian Airlines and Seychelles Tourism heads discuss inaugural flights

Berlin, Germany – Tewolde Gebremariam, the Chief Executive Officer of Ethiopian Airlines, met during ITB 2012 in Berlin with Alain St.Ange, the newly-appointed Seychelles Minister for Tourism and Culture; Elsia Grandcourt, CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board; and Bernadette Willemin, the European Director for the Seychelles Tourism Board.

Mr. Tewolde of Ethiopian Airlines used the meeting to update the Seychelles Tourism Board on the developments surrounding the airlines launch of their four-weekly service to Seychelles. Mr. Tewolde also confirmed that he would be on the airline’s first flight to Seychelles on April 2.

Discussions also took place on Ethiopian Airline making seats available for tour operators and press traveling to Seychelles to discover the islands and to be better able to then sell or write about Seychelles.

“We are happy to see the commitment by Ethiopian Airlines. We shall be at the airport on April 2 to welcome Mr. Tewolde as he sets foot in Seychelles from the first flight of Ethiopian Airlines. We look forward to a long-lasting partnership between Seychelles and Ethiopian Airlines,” Alain St.Ange said.
