Ethiopia Football: St. George to face old foe EEPCO as Week 26 continues on Wednesday

Addis Ababa – Ethiopian Premier League defending champions and current St. George FC will face old foe EEPCO when Week 26 of the competition will resume tomorrow.

Defence Force will travel south to meet last-placed Fincha Sugar, while Dedebit FC will host Harar Beer here in the capital.

Ethiopian Coffee will play on Thursday, where they take on Nyala.

Following the national team’s 2-2 draw with Nigeria in Group B of the 2012 African nations Cup preliminary match over the weekend, the attention of Ethiopian football fans will now turn to the domestic league, where the top 4 teams are separated by just 1 point.

Defending champions, who were struggling at the bottom of the league during the first round of the EPL, are now seating at the top with 47 points, followed by Dedebit FC, Defence Force and Ethiopian Coffee, all with 46 points each.

Meanwhile the surprising southern team Sidama Coffee, which is now in 5th place, will travel east to meet Dire Dawa City.
