Ethiopia Football: Hawassa City defeats Defence Force 2-1
Yirgalem – Hawassa City defeated one time leader Defence Force 2-1 here today, while EEPCO continues its climb from the danger zone with a 2-0 beating of CBE.
In other matches, Sebeta City was victorious at home against Dire Dawa City (2-0), and Hara Brewery beat Lideta Nyala 3-0 in Addis Ababa after leading 2-0 at half-time.
Ashenafi Adem and Berket Yitsak scored for Hawassa City, while Chala Driba scored Defence’s consolation goal.
EEPCO, which at one time was languishing at the bottom of the table, now seats in 9th place following their 2-0 win over CBE today.
