Ethiopia Premier League: St. George & Dedebit want Week 13 matches postponed

Addis Ababa – St. George FC and Dedebit FC have asked that their Week 13 Ethiopian Premier League matches be postponed so they could avoid possible injuries to their players in light of their upcoming return leg matches in CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup competitions respectively, reported the Amharic sports website Libro.

St. George is scheduled to play against Hawassa City, and Dedebit to face Ethiopian Coffee.

The return leg matches of the African competitions will take place the week of February 12-13 here in the capital, where St. George will try to avenge its 2-0 defeat at the hands of Recreativo da Caála of Angola, and Dedebit FC will face Young Africans of Tanzania, with whom they drew 4-4 in Dar es Salaam.

Meanwhile the EEPCO vs Adama City and the Defence Force vs Lideta Nyala encounters, which were scheduled to take place at the Addis Ababa Stadium will take place at Abebe Bikila Stadium.
