Addis Ababa – Defending champions St. George kept its hope for the Ethiopian Premier League title after it defeated Banks 4-0 here today to move to second place.

With just one round left in the regular season, Ethiopian Coffee leads the league with 58 points (+22 goals), followed by St. George with 57 points (+25 goals), Dedebit FC with 55 points (+30 goals) and Defence Force with 52 points (+17 goals). However, Defence has one match in hand.

The EPL leading goal scorer Adane Girma scored a hat trick and Mesfin Kidane added a fourth.

Adane opened the score 9 minutes into the game and added two more goals on the 17th and 33rd minutes. Mesfin Kidane scored 27 minutes into the second half.

Adane leads the goal scoring chart with 20 goals followed by Getaneh Kebede (18) of Dedebit FC and Dawit Fekadu of Ethiopian Coffee with 15 goals.
