Second Round resumes with scoreless ties
Addis Ababa – The second round of the 2016/17 Ethiopian Premier League (EPL) resumed here today with two scoreless ties featuring Ethio-Electric vs Jimma Abba Bunna and Ethiopia Nigd Bank vs Woldia Kenema.
Ethiopia Nigd Bank, which scored a 1-0 away victory over Woldia in the first round, failed to take home field advantage and were held by the Wollo side, while the outcome of the Electric vs Jimma encounter turned out to be a repeat of their first battle, where there was no score.
The league will continue tomorrow with six more matches to be played but no game is more important than that of Dedebit vs Ethiopia Bunna, where the latter were hammered 3-0 in the first round.
