Adama Executive Hotel, a new addition to Hospitality Industry

 

Adama, Ethiopia – Adama Executive Hotel, a new addition to the growing hospitality industry in Ethiopia, opened its door here.

Hotel owner and general manager Ketema Regassa said the hotel was built at a cost of 92 million Birr (more than $5 million US), has 110 beds, six modern assembly halls, bars and restaurants, swimming pools and gymnasiums, among others.

The hotel has also created permanent jobs for about 150 citizens.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the modern hotel, Deputy Mayor Kefyalew Tulu said that the hotel was part of the plan to make Adama City a tourist destination as well as business and conference center.

He said that activities are underway in the city to grow the tourism sector through the construction and expansion of  various hotels.
