Deng, Bulls, End Miami’s Historic Winning Streak

Luol DengLuol Deng led the short-handed Bulls to a 101-97 victory over the Miami Heat last night, and in the process ended their historic 27 game winning streak.

The British (born in Sudan) forward had 28 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals, as the Bulls ended the second longest unbeaten run in NBA history.

“It was huge,” Deng said after the game. “We knew they were coming in playing unbelievable basketball. We knew it would take a lot of effort. We had some guys down. And we locked in.
