Addis Ababa -Dedebit FC failed to defend its title after it was eliminated by EEPCO 2-0 by forfeit on Thursday.
Dedebit asked the Ethiopian Football Federation that its playoff match against EEPCO be postponed as the team had a number of its players on the injured list. The federation refused and warned the club that should it fail to field a team as scheduled, it will be eliminated.
