Ethiopian Athletes Dominate Luanda International Athletics Meeting
Luanda, Angola – Ethiopian athletes dominated the International Athletics Meeting of Luanda, also dubbed Demóstenes de Almeida, which took place at the Coqueiros Stadium here on Monday.
The competition was organized by the Angolan Athletics Federation.
Ethiopian athletes won both the men and women’s 1,500m and 3,000m races.

CAF Champions League: St. George lose 2-0 to Recreativo da Caála
Luanda – Angolan club “Recreativo da Caála” defeated St. George FC of Ethiopia 2-0 in the first leg match of CAF Champions League preliminary round qualifier here today.
Both of the goals of the Angolans were scored by Paizinho, on the 28th and 71st minutes, respectively.
The second leg match shall be played in two weeks time in Addis Ababa.
