Athletes inducted into CAA Hall of Fame

The Confederation of
African Athletics (CAA) today inducted thirty-five African athletics
legends into its 1st ever African Athletics Hall of Fame held
in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia this evening.
At a colourful
gala held at the luxurious Sheraton Addis and attended by top
level Ethiopian government officials and members of the international
athletics family, the athletes were each awarded a special trophy
to commemorate their placing into African athletics folklore.
This is
an important day in the history of the CAA, said the Confederations
Cameroonian President Hamad Kalkaba Malboum. It is a day
to remember the past and recognize our champions who have made
us proud in the past and continue to endow us with endless joy.
