  • For the period 1944-69- "The History of Ethiopian Soccer" , published by the Ethiopian Football Federation in 1969.
  • For the period 1970-97- My own personal records, which include scrap books, newspaper/ magazine clips and personal interviews and discussion with players and football federation officials.

Since there are no official records or books published by the federation after 1969, it is difficult to confirm some of the information provided for the period 1970-97. I would therefore welcome any feedback, confirmation or correction regarding this period.
