Eritrea wins 2018 Africa Cycling Cup, Ethiopia finishes third

Asmara – The 2018 Africa Cycling Cup competition concluded here today as host country Eritrea were declared the overall winners of the competition, with South Africa and Ethiopia finishing in second and third places respectively.

Eritrea collected 6 more medals today bringing their medal tally to 21. 

Eritrea won the Elite Men and the Under 23 Men categories; South Africa won its second gold medal of the competition by winning the Elite women category and Nigeria got a taste of its first gold medal by clinching the Under 23 women
