The Confederation of African Football (CAF) incumbent Ahmad Ahmad, who overthrew Cameroonian Issa Hayatou in March 2017, has begun an official working visit in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa on Monday morning.

The 57 years old Malagasy jetted to the country on late hours of Sunday after having a brief stay in Burkina Faso. President Ahmad, accompanied by Ethiopian Football Federation president Juneidi Basha, F.D.R.E Youth and Sport Ministry Minster Resetu Yeredaw and Djiboutian Football Federation president and CAF ExCo member Souleiman Hassan Waberi, has visited the Ethiopian Youth Sports Academy, the ongoing construction of Adey Abeba Stadium and the CAF Center of Excellence around Ayat vicinity.
