Ethiopia Hospitality: Royal Tulip Plaza Hotel to open in Addis Ababa

Begez Business Group has given the management contract of a G+12 building in the Bole Atlas area to Louvre Hotels Group. They will open a hotel named Royal Tulip Plaza Addis Ababa Hotel – Luxury Style Collection.

Ozzie Business and Hospitality Management Group, successfully facilitated the negotiation of the two parties. The negotiation took over a year.

According to the contract agreement Louvre Hotels Group, the international hotel chain that operates the well-known global brands of Royal Tulip, Golden Tulip and Tulip Inn will manage Royal Tulip Plaza Addis Ababa Hotel for the next 20 years.

The 480 million birr hotel which lies on 1,400 square meters will create job opportunities for more than 220 citizens.

The development of this hotel project incorporates 88 rooms with an expansion plan and offers a multitude of high-end services of fine dining restaurants, spas as well as conference facilities.

During the signing ceremony, Alain Sebah, President of Golden Tulip for French-Speaking Africa and East Africa said “the tourism sector, especially business tourism, is experiencing strong growth in this region. Our goal is to be there for our clients, namely key accounts, wherever their business takes them in Africa, with quality hotels offering facilities and services to support growth and upgrade the quality of leisure and business tourism.”
