Premier League: Electric survives relegation, Dashen Beer not so lucky

Electric FCAddis Ababa Electric FC (EEpco), one of Ethiopia‘s oldest clubs, survived relegation from the Ethiopian Premier League following a 1-0 victory over Nigd Bank here today.

Nigerian striker Peter Nwadike scored the lone goal for the Electric men two minutes after the start of the second half.

Gondar-based Dashen Beer was not as lucky as it joins Hadiya Hossana to go down to the National League, despite defeating Sidama Bunna 1-0 in the club’s last game of the season.

The 2015/16 season will conclude in Addis Ababa tomorrow when defending champions Kedus Giorgis will face Hawassa Kenema and Dedebit FC will take on Hadiya Hossana.
