Tafesse Tesfaye joins Dashen Beer

Gondar, Ethiopia – Former Ethiopian Coffee, EEPCO and Hawassa Kenema striker Tafesse Tesfaye has joined Dashen Beer SC of the Ethiopian Premier League.

There was widespread speculation that Tafesse will join Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) but the move never materialized.

He will join his former Hawassa coach Tarekegn Assefa at Dashen. Furthermore,  the move will also allow him to play alongside his younger brother, Teklu Tesfaye, who played for CBE last year.

During his 10-year career in the Ethiopian Premier League, Tafesse scored a total of 117 goals.
