Ozzie Trading will open first ‘Hotel Show Ethiopia 2006‘ trade fair on October 10 at the United Nations’ exhibition center(ECA) in which different stakeholders in hotel and hospitality industry will take part, Ozzie Trading Managing Director and founder of Hotel Show Ethiopia, Kumneger Teketel told journalists yesterday. The trade fair will remain open from October 10 to 12.
More than 60 service providers in hospitality industry, equipment suppliers,Ã‚Â beverage and food are expected to partake in the trade fair.
The trade fair, as reported in the press conference, helps to be a platform where various customers, institutions, international reservations service providers,embassies,diplomatic communities and tour operators create market linkages.
According to the director, the exhibition helps encourage local suppliers and importers to make available materials necessary for architectural designs and beautifying hotel buildings as well as provide information communication tools. The exhibition that is expected to bring togeth erexperts, gymnasium providers, architects, and designers helps save huge foreign currency and contribute to the national development.
Ozzie Director, Kumneger said, Ã¢â‚¬Å“The trade fair will have a paramount significance to our country’s growing hospitality industry. It will allow it to be supported by new technologies and experts. It will also helps to link stakeholders active in the industry.Ã¢â‚¬Â
Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Tourism Stakeholders Directorate Director, Sisay Teklu, on his part said the trade fair is crucial in promoting the products and services of those who have a stake in the industry .It as well helps them receive information about the hospitality industry.
Mentioning the role of all stakeholders in the sector as invaluable, he added his ministry will continue supporting the industry.
A special discussion forum of experts,including that of Arab Emirate‘s,’ on ways of expanding market linkages for hotels of non international brand,’material development’ and ‘human development’ is also reported to be in the pipeline.
