The Jessica Cox’s experience In Addis

JessicaAddis Ababa, Ethiopia - The world’s first armless female pilot visited Ethiopia last week and left remarkable memories in the hearts of many disabled youth in the country.

She spoke before thousands of students at Addis Ababa University  on Monday and received a huge ovation for the inspirational speech she made for the students in particular for those who are disabled. She also met some of the successful disabled students of the University like Yetnebersh Nigussie, who graduated from the School of Law some years back.

Yetnebersh is known for her articulated speeches on different matters. Jessica, who expressed her joy over the visit she made to Ethiopia showed some of the daily activities she performs using her feet, including flying an aircraft. She flew an Abyssinia Aviation School aircraft at Bole International Airport the same day. She also met with a young boy, Tariku Merga, who lost both his hands, like her, and inspired him not to give up on his life by participating in some activities together and coaching him.
