Burkina Faso’s Belgian coach Paul Put has unveiled a list of 28 players for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, including Alain Traoré of FC Lorient (France), who is nursing an ankle injury he sustained on December 16 in a Ligue 1 match.

Aboubacar Zerbo (Shooting Star Ouagadougou) is the only player selected from the domestic league, as the rest ply their trade in Africa, Middle East, Europe and Japan.

Burkina Faso known as the Stallions are drawn in Group C with Nigeria, Zambia and Ethiopia. The team has a friendly preparation match against Niger on January 11.

The 28 players are:

Goalkeepers: Abdoulaye Soulama (Asante Kotoko / GHA), Daouda Diakite (Lierse SK / BEL), Germain Sanou Musa (AS Saint-Etienne/FRA), Abdoul Ouattara (JC Abidjan / CIV).
