Teddy Afro’s concert set for Oct. 13

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia - Teddy Afro’s concert, scheduled to take place on September 10, 2012, on the eve of the New Ethiopian Year was postponed because of the unexpected death of Prime Minister Meles Zenawi.

Now the New Year is here and so is the concert. Once again Teddy is taking center stage on October 13, 2012 at Ghion Hotel.

The concert is titled “Wede Fiker” and is expected to draw in over 15,000 fans. It promises an amazing performance from the singer as well as the “Abugida Band,” well known for their crowd stirring stage performance.

Teddy will be thrilling fans with a full concert performing all of his songs from his most recent album “Tikur Sew”. Tickets will be on sale starting from September 25th at venues that are yet to be disclosed.

In an official press release, Adika Communications stated that Teddy Afro’s “Tikur Sew” album brings forth a sound as reminiscent as the spirit of the past and as daring as the possibilities of the future. Through this album, which continues to be successful, Teddy Afro has brought to life a captivating story that has been told for hundred years.
