Ambassador Greg Dorey congratulates Ethiopian Paralympics athlete on winning silver medal
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia –Ethiopia won three gold, one silver and three bronze medals at the London 2012 Olympics and so far one silver medal at the London Paralympics Games.
British Ambassador Greg Dorey has congratulated Ethiopian Paralympics athlete Wondiye Fikre onÃ‚Â winningÃ‚Â silver medals at the Paralympics Games in London. Athlete Fikre came second in the menÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s 1500m-T46 athletics on 4 September 2012 following the Kenyan Athlete Tarbei Abraham, who won the gold.
Ambassador Dorey said Ã¢â‚¬Å“FikreÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s achievement, which builds on EthiopiaÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s success in London in the Olympic games, illustrates the talent of EthiopiaÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s emerging generation of athletes.
