Adane Girma is the scorer – he controlled the ball on the penalty spot, turned and fired home in some style, just before the break to leave Fabien Farnolle, the Beninois goalkepper, floundering. Great goal.

The Walias are without the service of ace striker Saladin Said, who is sidelined due to a hamstring injury he suffered last week in Addis Ababa after scoring his second goal of the match against Central Africa Republic (CAR) in a 2014 World Cup qualifier.

Adame girma to the rescue. Why play a crippled said and risk the world cup qualifiers along with his career. The game was not bad and the Benin players dominated with multiple chances. Plenty of crosses but no finishing from them. The game was scrappy and ethiopia just booted it the last 10 mins.
Just saw the game. Way to squeeze it out and get the draw. The teams played rugged but thats mostly due to the crappy pitch. The ETV broadcast has got to be the worst thing ever. My god damned cellphone has better picture quality then this. Also whoever is holding the camera cant seem to Zoom out or follow the ball. Very pathetic and unprofessional.
