New York (USA) – Olympic and World Champion Tirunesh Dibaba led an all-Ethiopian team in the Samsung Diamond League 5,000m race here today when she finished first in 14:50.80.
Dibaba was followed by Meseret Defar (14:57.02), Gelete Burka (15:02.74), Werknesh Kidane (15:04.65) and Genet Yalew (15:22.03) who took the 2nd through 5th positions respectively.
Meanwhile, Fantu Magiso continued her superb performance with another victory in the 800m.
