ACQ Global Awards recognizes Ernst & Young Ethiopia as lead advisory firm of the year

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – ACQ, a premier global mergers & acquisition (M&A) magazine, has recognized Ernst & Young Ethiopia, a leading player in the marketplace, as a winner in the 2012 ACQ GLOBAL AWARDS. “We are delighted by ACQ’s recognition of Ernst & Young Ethiopia and it further validates our caliber and reputation as a leading provider of sophisticated and complex M&A services to our clients across Africa” said Zemedeneh Negatu, managing partner of Ernst & Young Ethiopia and Head of transaction advisory services for Eastern Africa.

Launched in 2004, ACQ magazine is a UK based publication servicing the corporate finance sector.  According to ACQ, The ACQ Global Awards have presented accolades to the business world’s best and brightest firms for the last eight years. ACQ asked its readership to nominate companies that warranted special recognition for their commitment to excellence and quality on a global scale.

“The winners represent the very best in their field from around the world and Ernst & Young Ethiopia truly deserves the accolade of Lead Advisory Firm of the Year,” said Jake Robson, editor- in-chief of ACQ. “All category winners are in effect, a brand.  In one sense, perhaps the most important sense, a brand is a promise. You know what you’re going to get with a well-branded product or service. It takes a lot of time, money and very hard work to build and maintain great brands, brands that can speak volumes in just a few syllables. It’s shorthand for what you are. All category winners in the ACQ Global Awards 2012 represent this ethos and this year, our dedicated subscribers  have once again recognised the genuine leaders in the market”. The full list of winners will soon be announced.
