Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – EEPCO, which led the Ethiopia Premier League for a number of weeks before they were overtaken by St. George, was held to a 1-1 draw by Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) here today.

The other match of the day facing Arba Minch vs Mugher Cement also ended in a 1-1 tie.

The draw was costly for EEPCO as they now find themselves 2 points behind current leader St. George, which has 2 matches on hand. Furthermore, Dedebit is right on their tail, with a couple points behind.

Meanwhile, St. George will face Club Africain of Tunisia in the return leg match of CAF Confederation Cup in Tunis on Friday, and Ethiopian Coffee will square off with Al Ahly in Cairo on Saturday.
