Mekonnen Gebremedhin, bronze medalist in men’s 1,500m
Istambul, Turkey – Mekonnen Gebremedhin of Ethiopia won a bronze medal at the 2012 IAAF World Indoor Championships after he finished 3rd in the men’s 1,500m race here today.
Abdalaati Iguider of Morocco won gold (3:45.21), followed by Ilham Tanui Ozbilen of Turkey (3:45.3). Aman Wote of Ethiopia finished fourth (3:47.02).
Ethiopia has 2 medals so far: 1 gold and 1 bronze.
