Ethiopian Coffee destroys Coin Noir 4-1

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia– Defending Premier League Champions Ethiopian Coffee destroyed Coin Noir Mitsamiouli of the Comoros Islands 4-1 here today in the return leg match of 2012 Orange CAF Champions League competition.

Ethiopian coffee avenged the 1-0 loss they suffered two weeks ago to advance to the second round competition on a 4-2 aggregate score.

Ethiopian Coffee will meet Al Ahly of Egypt next, with the first leg match taking place here in Addis Ababa during the week of March 23-25, 2012, and the return leg match in Cairo, Egypt in two-week time.

St. George, Ethiopia’s representative in the 2012 Orange CAF Confederation Cup, also advanced to the next round of the competition with a 5-0 aggregate win over Mangasport of Gabon.

St. George’s next opponent is Club Africain of Tunisia. Once again, the first leg match will take place in Addis during the week of March 23-25, and with the return match in Tunis during the week of April 6-8..
