Ethiopia Football: St. George FC & Coach Dusan Kondic agree to go separate ways

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – Ethiopian Premier League runner-up St. George has announced that it has agreed to part way with its new coach, Dusan Kondic of Serbia, according to a report posted on EthioFootball.com here today.

Coach Kondic replaced the outgoing Italian coach, Giuseppe Dossena and signed a two-year contract this past August in a lavish ceremony held at the Sheraton Addis.

EthioFottball said that no official reason was given by the club for the sudden decision.

Surprisingly, Coach Kondic led St. George to the Addis Ababa City Cup and Ethiopia Cup title victories during his 3-month stay with the club.

His coaching career includes:

  • AFC Obilc of Serbia from 1981 to 1987
  • Primeiro de Agosto of Luanda of Angola and
  • Young Africans in Tanzania.
