Ethiopian Premier League: Dedebit whips EEPCO 3-0, St. George defeats CBE 2-0

Addis Ababa – Dedebit FC whipped EEPCO 3-0 and St. George defeated Commercial Bank (CBE) 2-0 in Week 14 of the Ethiopian Premier League championship here today, according to Ermias Amare.

Both matches were originally scheduled to be played last week but were postponed due to St. George and Dedebit’s participation in African clubs competitions.

The victories moved Dedebit to 4th place, while St. George jumped to 10th place.

In the first match, Dedebit opened the score just two minutes into the game thanks to defender Adamu Mohammed, their Ghanaian import. And that’s how the two teams went to their dressing rooms at half-time.

Twenty six minutes into the second half, Dedebit increased their lead with a goal from their striker Getaneh Kebede. Substitute Temesgen Tekle closed the coffin on EEPCO with a third goal in the dying minutes of the match.
