Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – Dedebit FC, playing in its first international competition, has defeated Young Africans of Tanzania 2-0 here today to advance to the round of 16 on 6-4 aggregate score, reported EthioFootball.com.

The two teams played to a 4-4 draw in Dar es Salaam two weeks ago.

Dedebit led 1-0 at half-time thanks to a goal by their top striker Getaneh Kebede (37), and added a second courtesy of Temesgen Tekle.

Dedebit will face Haras El Hodoud of Egypt, which last year eliminated Ethiopian Banks SC 6-1 on aggregate score last year in the same competition.

The first leg match will be held in Egypt the week of March 18-20 , with the return leg taking place here in the capital the week of April 1-3, 2011.
