CAF Confederation Cup: Dedebit’s Officials ask fans to support team

Addis Ababa – At a press conference held here today, Dedebit FC President Colonel Awel Abdurahim  and team Manager & Technical Director Yohannes Sahle have called on all Ethiopian sports fans to support their team which will be playing its first international match on home turf on Saturday.

Dedebit FC will face Young Africans of Tanzania in the second leg match of CAF Confederation Cup on Saturday.

Colonel Awel said that public support will be imperative for the team’s success.

The president also wished good luck to St. George in their Sunday encounter with Recreativo de Calaa of Angola in the second leg match of CAF Champions League.

Yohannes on his part said that the team is well prepared and that all his players are healthy. He also stressed the need of the public support to help the team advance to the next round.

A 23-member Young Africans team has arrived here today, while the Rwandan referees who will be officiating the match will arrive later on tonight.
