Addis Ababa – The Ethiopian national women football team will play its return leg match of the 2012 London Olympic preliminary with its DR Congo counterpart here on Sunday.

The two teams drew scoreless in the first leg match played in Kinshasa two weeks ago.

Should the Ethiopia team advances to the next round, it will face the winner of Ghana vs Guinea matches.

The Ethiopian team is made up of players from Central Medical College FC, the 2010 Addis Ababa Women Football champion. The team includes Shetaye Gemechu, who is the league’s top goal scorer with 24 goals.

“The Black Queens” as the Ghana team is known, made a bright start by beating Guinea 2-0 in Conakry two weeks ago. Two second half goals from midfielders Florence Okoe and Portia Boakye ensured the Queens’ victory.

The two teams will meet tomorrow for the second leg match in Accra.
