Yirgalem: Hawassa City defeated CBE 2-0 here today to move to 3rd place, while St. George took a step up with a 1-0 win over EEPCO.
Meanwhile Harar Brewery defeated Dedebit 2-1 in Harar; Mugher Cement narrowly defeated the visiting Sebeta City 1-0 in Assela and in Adigrat, Trans Ethiopia was shocked by Adama City 2-0.
Despite its loss today, Dedebit FC has collected 15 points from 8 matches so far. And should the team win its 3 matches in hand, it could go all the way to the top.
Defending champions St. George is slowly creeping up. It now has 8 points from 8 matches, and if the team wins its 3 matches in hand, it could easily move up to the top 5.
