Adigrat – Trans Ethiopia defeated Fincha Sugar 1-0 here thanks to a goal by Berhanu who scored in the dying minutes of the game.
This game is part of the Week 8 fixtures of the Ethiopian Premier League (EPL) and it was supposed to take place last Sunday, but was somehow postponed.
The victory lifted Trans four spots from 10th place to 6th, but Fincha Sugar’s position remain the same – one spot from bottom.
Meanwhile the much anticipated clash between defending champions Saint George and last year’s runner-up Dedebit will take in Addis Ababa on Thursday.
