Dar es Salaam, Tanzania –Shimelis Bekele of Hawassa City has become a great goal poacher for the Ethiopian national football team at this year’s CECAFA Challenge Cup having scored 3 goals in 3 games.

Coach Iffy Onuora seems to believe in this young man’s ability that he remains the only player who has played in all of Ethiopia’s 3 matches in Group C.

He has partnered with three different players upfront, namely: Getaneh Kebede (Dedebit), Adane Girma (St. George) and Bedasso Ora (Defence Force).
