Ethiopian Football: Saint George, Dedebit & Defence to take part in ANDM tournament
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – The Ethiopian Football Federation (EFF) has announced in a press release here today that defending champions St. George, last year runner-up and cup winner Dedebit FC and current Ethiopian Premier League leader Defence Force will travel to Bahir Dar tomorrow to take part in a four-day soccer tournament to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the Amhara National Democratic Movement (ANDM).
InterSport, the weekly Amharic sport newspaper in Addis Ababa, which posted the news bulletin on its FaceBook page, has indicated that the Defence Force vs Harar Brewery encounter here in the capital has been postponed to Thursday, November 18, 2010. The paper, however, did not say when the St. George vs Dedebit derby will take place.
